Anna Černíková is a visual artist working at the intersection of video, performance and installation. Her work focuses on themes of identity, physicality and memory, which she explores through fragmentary narratives and associative storytelling.
Her work often oscillates between the personal and the collective, the real and the imaginary, thus opening up space for questioning the linear perception of time. She often works with archival materials, autobiographical elements or performative gestures that question the stability of visual representation and the subject itself.
